SANATORIUM LAKE – Located about 10 mins drive from Mistwood is Sanatorium Lake, where you can embark on a relaxed walk through many different types of vegetation. Take a picnic lunch to enjoy at Days Picnic Area (where the walk starts) beforehead. Lions Had Road. Mt Macedon.

We had a wonderful 2 night stay at Mistwood. The property exceeded our expectations. What a beautiful and peaceful setting. Both bedrooms were huge with comfy beds and the views into the bush were absolutely amazing! I did not expect to see so many birds literally on my doorstep! Fabulous, highly recommended and lovely hosts. Really lovely toiletries too.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and the hospitality at Mistwood. Quite a cute place, perfect for our needs whilst attending a wedding. All amenities were spot on as described and the house was easy to find/access - although the car park is a little tight with two vehicles. Beautiful views and surrounds and hosts were very friendly and helpful. Will definitely stay again, thank you.

We had a great stay at Mistwood. Enjoyed the close walking trails and general store for coffee and lunch. The house was clean with great views. Would definitely stay here again!

This is an idyllic hideaway on the slopes of Mt Macedon which has every amenity and is pet friendly. Perfect. We loved it!

Such a hidden gem! So private and what an amazing view! We absolutely loved our stay here and really appreciate the extra touches (like the massage chair and wild bird seed). The owner was so friendly and responsive. We can't wait to come back again soon!

Our family of four had a wonderful stay at Nicole’s place. The view of the forest was as stunning as it was relaxing. The house itself was really comfortable and had everything we needed for a weekend away. We particularly appreciated being able to check-in early and the delicious muesli for breakfast. We would highly recommend Nicole and Jodie's place.
